Cool Sensors

Neato XV11 uses a custom-made LIDAR (laser distance and ranging) sensor for $30. Really accurate resolution (down to cm/millimeter!), and much better than Kinect. But no standalone module yet.. Hackaday, HiZook, ICRA Paper
